Earlier in October the 43rd and 44th of our 45 personal remembrance services were conducted in Gaza, Egypt. The UK Government’s travel advice strongly advises members of the public not to enter Gaza due to longstanding security concerns in this region and this has been compounded by the recent emotive move of the US embassy….

On the 22nd September 2018 – Snettisham 45 conducted its 40th personal remembrance service to Harold Meek. Harold’s death was unique amongst our 45 fallen in that it occurred at sea, in one of the worst U-boat attack’s of WW1. In the space of just 15 minutes he and 609 allied soldiers lost their lives…
On the 3rd August the Royal British Legion launched it’s national ‘Thank You’ Campaign to significant media interest.
