On the 31st October 2018, The RBLs Head of Remembrance and lead of their major 100th Anniversary ‘Thank You’ Campaign, Catherine Davies came to Snettisham Primary School to personally thank the children and staff for their involvement in what they see as our community’s outstanding remembrance project.

She toured the school, saw the displays and talked with the children at length about their letters to our fallen and was most impressed by their understanding of service, war and sacrifice and their real desire to engage, reflect and remember.

She left stating she felt our community had really passed the baton of remembrance on to this next generation and arrangements are being made with the RBL to capture and replicate the ‘Snettisham model’ to support other UK communities remembrance activities in the future.
